Saul Visits the Witch of Endor
With this sermon, pastor Kendell walks us through the Old Testament event of when Saul (out of desperation) looks to a witch/medium who was living in the region of Endor. This is very much a “teaching” message and you’ll see how things like geography and military strategy are necessary in understanding what the author is communicating within the Scripture. So, you may want to open up to 1 Samuel 28:3-24 and follow along.
It’s Not What You Think
In this sermon, pastor Kendell takes us through the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, and shows us some things about the rich man that many have not considered. He also takes a close look at the original Greek and reveals how translation matters when it comes to how this parable is understood.
It’s A Heart Thing
It’s not just about the money. I say that because in this sermon, pastor Kendell takes a deeper dive into what the person in Mark 10:17-27 was lacking. Hint — the answer is in the title — “It’s A Heart Thing.” This sermon also answers the question — is it enough to simply follow God’s Commandments?
PSALM 23 Through The Lens Of Jesus
This is a homily (short message) on Psalm 23. It is generally understood that Psalm 23 is a Davidic Psalm (From King David); however this perspective is through the lens of Jesus. There is a sermon recap/highlight available for this sermon available here: Psalm 23 Sermon Discussion
