Bible Study Groups

Bible Study Groups

Imagine if Jesus, Himself, were leading our Bible Study Groups? That would be awesome.

Sunday Morning Bible Study Groups

People gather for Bible Study Groups prior to the worship services on Sunday morning at 10am – 10:45. Each group fosters conversation that is centered around the Biblical text.

Pastoral Bible Study?

Something to know: I (Pastor Kendell) am unable to be a part of the Bible studies that occur on Sunday mornings because I pastor two churches: Grace Lynnwood UMC & Tabernacle UMC. This means that on Sunday mornings, while Bible-Study is occurring at Grace Lynnwood, I am traveling from Tabernacle. However, I do provide the lesson plan for one of the bible study groups that meet in the morning. My lesson plans are often centered around the Scripture that I will be preaching on during the worship service. The lessons involve having a guided discussion where the group answers the various questions around the Scripture passage. The interesting thing is that the answers are revealed during the sermon.

In the works: I absolutely love teaching, and so—I am currently planning to hold on-line interactive Bible studies that are open for anyone to join. The classes will be held via zoom (but don’t think of a normal zoom meeting session). I’ll include special video presentations, slides, and I’ll even use your computer screen as my chalkboard. So, be on the look-out for this to happen soon. I’ll keep you posted)

Children & Youth Bible Study

Our Children and Youth also gather for Bible Study on Sunday mornings, and yes, the children are separated via age differences. When you get a chance, visit our page: Children & Youth
