Grace Lynnwood Church is a United Methodist Church. By saying that we are a SPIRIT FILLED PEOPLE LIVING SPIRIT FILLED LIVES TOGETHER we are referring to what Jesus stated to His disciples in John 14:25-27 where it reads, “All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (NIV).
Just as the Scripture states, we believe that God’s Holy Spirit is present in us and around us. Further, we believe that God’s Spirit teaches us and guides us as we go about living the life that God has invited us into. Further, we believe that there is more to Christianity than being saved. In other words, there is life after salvation, and that is a life that is lived by loving God by loving neighbor. This is what we mean when we say that WE ARE A SPIRIT FILLED PEOPLE LIVING SPIRIT FILLED LIVES TOGETHER and we hope you will freely choose to join us in this life.
