“For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” ~Ecclesiastes 3:1

The thought of September most likely brings up notions of change—at least for me it does. The long days of summer begin to give way to the cool evenings of autumn. Children are back in school (as well as some young adults), football season is underway, and our gardens start to shift from bright summer colors to the warm hues of fall. The air begins to hold a hint of crispness that reminds us that God designed seasons for both the earth and our lives (Genesis 1:14-19). What a blessing indeed!

As we step into this new season, let us remember that God is always at work, bringing growth and renewal. Just as the trees begin to change, we are called to allow the Spirit to change us from within. September is not only about harvest in the fields but also about harvest in our hearts—a time to nurture our faith, to sow kindness, and to reap joy in Christ. Let us move into Fall with gratitude, open hearts, and a willingness to embrace what God has in store for us.

God bless all of you
